FEHR Ranch, established in 2017, is a hidden gem just minutes from downtown Quesnel. Nestled on the west side of the Fraser River, our 118-acre ranch offers a diverse range of activities, from horse riding lessons, training, and boarding to goat sales and farm tours. Guests can also enjoy our cozy cabin along the river and a guest house nestled amongst our horses, available for nightly or weekly stays. We pride ourselves on fostering clear and honest communication between horse and rider through natural horsemanship lessons, clinics, and private sessions, whether with your own horse or one of our ranch horses. Our facilities include a remarkable 30,000 sq. ft. indoor riding arena, outdoor arena, round pen, spectator stands, and announcer's booth, providing an ideal setting for equestrian enthusiasts year-round.
Our Story
At First Equestrian Horse Ranch, we're more than just an equine ranch; we're your local farm source for premium goat meat and goat sales. Knowing that diversification is a must, the ranch saw the arrival of thirty yearling goats in 2021. The ranch itself is built on old river flats therefore has a tremendous amount of steep banks, perfect for grazing goats. Our family-run operation is dedicated to raising naturally-raised goats without antibiotics, synthetic hormones, or mRNA vaccines, ensuring the highest quality meat. We prioritize the well-being of our animals, offering them stress-free, free-range environments with natural milk-feeding practices. Since our relocation to Quesnel, we've cultivated our vision of 'Know Your Farmer, Know Your Food,' emphasizing transparency and connection between consumers and their food sources.
