Date: Sunday April 28th 11:00am to 12:30pm.

Location: First Equestrian Horse Ranch

Who: First 8 registered.

Includes: 1 EAL Exercise

This session will focus on your role within a team.

How is your leadership skills and your communication skills?

Teamwork is a life skill that is often overlooked at a young age. Teamwork is an essential part of school, sports, and the workplace. Our exercises provide tools to encourage you to contribute ideas on your own as well as being able to work with others.

Participants will develop:

~life skills while using horses,

~self-awareness and self-esteem,

~confidence,

~trust and respect,

~communication skills,

~teamwork and listening skills,

~choice-making and goal-setting skills,

~responsibility,

~problem-solving skills,

~appropriate assertiveness,

~leadership skills,

At FEHR's Equine Assisted Learning Centre the program drives objectives to outcomes.

How? By including horses in specially designed experiential learning exercises, equine-assisted specialists are able to observe non-verbal communication of the horses and be a translator as well as a guide to encourage the learner to attain the outcome of each exercise. This hands-on approach to learning has been researched and has proven to greatly multiply the participants' retention and understanding of skills learned.
